The Amazon rainforest is the biggest rainforest in the world. It considers that its length reaches the 6,000,000 km ² divided among eight South American countries: Brazil and Peru with the greatest extension of the Amazon followed by Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Venezuela and French Guiana as part of the outermost region of the European Union.
